Tinder provides users with 50 free likes and if you reach the 50 likes limit then your right swipes are restricted for a period of 12 hours. After 12 hours, Tinder provides you with another 50 likes and the same restriction limit applies to this set of likes. Tinder doesn’t put a limit on left swipes or dislikes. If you continuously keep swiping then you get a total of 100 free likes every day on Tinder.
Once you reach the right swipe limit, you will be presented with a screen with the text “You’re Out of Likes” and you will be asked to purchase a premium subscription like Tinder Plus, Tinder Gold, or Tinder Platinum to get unlimited likes.
The purchase screen also has a timer countdown that shows the exact time for which you are locked out of Tinder and won’t be able to swipe right. This is a good thing because you know exactly how long you’re locked out of Tinder and when you can get back to swiping.
